Under the strong support of the Failure Analysis Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, the China Shot Peening Technical Committee was formally established.The first academic exchange meeting was held in Dafeng City, Jiangsu Province from June 8 to 11, 2010. The meeting was jointly organized by the Failure Analysis Branch of the China Mechanical Engineering Society and the Residual Stress Professional Committee of the Materials Branch, and was undertaken by Dafeng Daqi Metal Abrasive Co., Ltd. At the conference, we will publish an academic report entitled "Development and Application of CNC Shot Peening Machine Tools".
