The 19th National Conference on Residual Stress and International Residual Stress Symposium was co-organized by the Residual Stress Professional Committee of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, the Shoting Technical Committee of the Failure Analysis Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and the X-ray Diffraction Professional Committee of the Chinese Physical Society. Organized by Wenzhou University, it was held in Hangzhou from October 16th to October 20th, 2017. 338 representatives from 204 domestic and foreign organizations attended the conference.
